Announcements for the week of October 11, 2026
- Church Work Day: We will hold a church work and cleanup day on Saturday, Oct. 17. The day will begin with breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 8 a.m. Everyone is invited to join us!
- Pinckard Heritage Fall Festival: Saturday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m., at the Town Hall. We are asking for volunteers to help man our church table.
- Trunk or Treat: Our annual Trunk or Treat will be held Sunday, Oct. 25, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. If you would like to donate candy, please leave it on the pew in the Fellowship Hall.
- Operation Christmas Child Packing Party: We will hold our annual shoebox packing party on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 4 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. Join us and bring your favorite finger foods!
- Dale Baptist Association Annual Meeting: The DBA Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m., at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Dinner will be served before the meeting.
- Hanging of the Greens: We will meet in the sanctuary on Sunday, Nov. 22, to decorate the church for Christmas and Advent. Details will be announced soon.
- Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Fillers: We are collecting filler items (school supplies, toothbrushes, small toys, etc.) for our Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. You can also donate to this effort by designating your offering “Shoebox Filler Items” or give online using the link below:
- SendRelief Tour: Domestic opportunities to serve with SendRelief have been posted on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall. International opportunities will be posted when they become available.
- Chest of Joash: The Chest of Joash is an ongoing, freewill offering above and beyond your regular general fund tithe. The funds raised through the Chest of Joash will be divided 70% to the building fund and 30% to the general fund. You may make your offering (designated “Chest of Joash”) in the offering box in the vestibule or give now on Tithe.ly using the link below:

- Dale Baptist Association News: The DBA is in need of ministry volunteers in two main areas: 1) individuals to serve in the ministry center, and 2) individuals to serve in our associational disaster relief team. For those interested in disaster relief, contact the DBA office or go to sbdr.org for training information and registration.
